As of September 3rd, all classes will be held at Camp Ketcha, located at 336 Black Point Road in Scarborough. Be sure to check the Schedule page for class times; there were a few changes.

We have the pleasure this month of welcoming a new black belt to our ranks.
On December 8, Tyler Fitzpatrick completed the demonstration portion of his
test, thus completing all of the requirements of the Black Belt Board of
Examiners. Congratulations, Shodan!
We'd also like to take a moment to recognize the accomplishments of Jim
DiVirgilio Sensei. Jim completed the thesis requirement for his 4th dan,
and has been recognized with the title of Yondan. It's our loss that Jim
has decided to move on; we're glad to have had the opportunity to study with
him. Thank you, Sensei, and good luck in Virginia!

As many of you are aware, our fellow martial artist Rachael is about to embark on an admirable endeavor in Ecuador, South America. Rachael will be teaching English through the WorldTeach program, which is sponsored by Harvard University and provides education to citizens in developing countries. We are sad to lose our friend and training partner, but also proud to know such a committed and talented world citizen.
Monday was Rachael's last class with us for a while. Good Luck Rachael!
Reminder: the dojo will be closed from Wednesday, August 29th to Monday, September 3rd. Have a safe and fun Labor Day weekend!
